OUR CATS JOURNEY TIKI’S CHRONICLES

A CAT living the good life.

PART2 Tiki the cat taking risks.

Cat townhouse

It’s me again, tiki the cat! Sorry it took so long to get back to my stories…but being a kitten is a lot of work. I wake up in the morning…have my breakfast…go explore for a little while and then find my favorite pillow and my kitten naps. I have two favorite spots…one everyone calls my Tiki’s Townhouse  and floor pillow. My townhouse is pretty high and it’s 2 stories, but once I get up in it I can play with my toys…walk on the windowsill and look out to see what is going on outside. I’m still really small, so if I go out in the backyard, mom or dad follow me.

One time I climbed up the tree and instead of going back down I slowly went out on the limb that hung over the neighbors yard. I saw a lizard and all of a sudden I knew I had to jump down….in the neighbors yard. Oh oh….you know what next. Mom ran and got a ladder and was hanging over the fence pretty much begging me to come back to her. But a kittens got to do what a kittens got to do….hunt. So, Dad watched where I went and Mom took off to go around the block and get into the backyard and find me. I didn’t run away, I knew she was unhappy..but she kissed me all the way home and then Dad picked me up and he gave me kisses too! I was exhausted!!! I knew what time it was…Nap Time!!! Off to my townhouse I went!  Tiki sleeping on the pillow

Born in cold country up north, I never was happy being cold. Finished college and left for warmer weather and landed in the Caribbean for many years. Met my wife there, had a happy life there and then moved to Palm Beach County, Florida, where we still have a happy life. Warm weather, the sun, and the ocean flow through my body. I hope to bring some of that energy to you.
